Centrifugal Pumps

Fixed In-Tank

Overview
Description
Specifications

This type of pump is mounted directly to supports in the bottom of a storage tank. In addition, it is connected to a discharge pipe that extends to the top of the tank and out to the discharge piping. This simple, low cost design is used in liquefied gas carriers. It is also used in other applications where a normal or required process includes removing the liquid from the tank for maintenance. As a result, this can be accomplished without excessive costs to the tank or system.
