Nikkiso to Showcase Hydrogen Innovation at the World Hydrogen 2025 Summit and Exhibition

Temecula, Kalifornien. – Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group (Nikkiso CE&IG), part of Nikkiso Co. Ltd.’s Industrial Division, is bringing its leading hydrogen technologies and expertise to the World Hydrogen 2025 Summit and Exhibition in Rotterdam from May 2022.

As the leading global supplier of liquid hydrogen fueling stations, Nikkiso CE&IG has deployed over 400 liquid hydrogen pumps and more than 100 vaporizers and heat exchangers for the hydrogen market. With more than seven decades of unparalleled expertise, Nikkiso CE&IG is uniquely positioned to capitalize on the substantial expansion of the hydrogen market, which is expected to grow by more than 50% by 2030, fueled by projected investments of $680 billion.

“Nikkiso is not just participating in the hydrogen transition; we are shaping its future,” said Ole Skatka-Jensen, Vice President, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Nikkiso CE&IG Group. “Building on our decades of experience and strong foundation in industrial gases, we have already helped our clients deliver some of the world’s leading-edge hydrogen projects. We have shown that we have the expertise and industry partnerships to not only grow but stand among the leaders of innovation driving toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.”

Nikkiso CE&IG’s advanced technologies and capabilities support critical hydrogen infrastructure, such as SunLine Transit Agency’s new liquid hydrogen fueling station in Thousand Palms, California. A trusted partner of the industry’s leading suppliers, Nikkiso CE&IG secured multimillion-dollar contracts in new hydrogen projects in 2024, and that momentum has continued into 2025 with confirmed contracts including a pump unit order from Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. for hydrogen-fueled ships. This robust pipeline drives Nikkiso CE&IG’s expansion, with anticipated delivery of 35 permanent and 40 mobile hydrogen stations globally by the end of this year, facilitating efficient dispensing at up to 600 kg/hour with pressures of up to 900 bar.

Increasing global commitments to decarbonization are also driving demand for both ammonia – due to its potential as a hydrogen carrier – and carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies. Both offer a tangible pathway to decarbonize key sectors as the hydrogen market scales its infrastructure, and Nikkiso has now supplied more than 35 CO2 plants operating globally.

At Stand E32, attendees of the World Hydrogen Summit can experience Nikkiso CE&IG’s advanced cryogenic solutions crucial for the safe and efficient production, storage, and transportation of hydrogen. The company will also spotlight its market-leading technical expertise in key areas, including:
